Late 1700's early 1800's continental polychromed wood religious statue. Depicting one of the many saints dedicated to the grape or wine.
Hand painted with applied gold leaf in remarkably decent condition for its age and compared to many.
The layers of paint on the face and the patina are just beautiful.
Stands approx 77cm without the black stand below.
